Meet Nathan Hind

Director |Mental Health First Aider

Nathan Hind is the Founder and Director of The Wellbeing & Advocacy Practice. He established the Practice with the belief that everyone deserves access to compassionate, practical support during difficult periods in their lives.

As a qualified Mental Health First Aider, Nathan is committed to providing early intervention, independent advocacy, and emotional wellbeing support within a safe, non-judgemental environment. His approach is centred on listening first, taking the time to understand each person’s circumstances, and helping them make sense of the options available to them.

With a special interest in workplace wellbeing and advocacy, recognising the significant impact that employment, financial security, and work related challenges can have on mental health. He is passionate about helping individuals understand their rights and entitlements, navigate workplace concerns, and access appropriate support while promoting healthier and more supportive working environments.

Nathan’s professional background spans military service, public service, and Security management. During his service with the Royal Military Police, he led and supported fellow Armed Forces personnel, including individuals experiencing stress, trauma, and PTSD.

Through his work in public service, he routinely worked alongside Approved Mental Health Professionals & The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub, supporting individuals experiencing mental ill health at home and within the community. Developing practical experience of safeguarding, multi-agency working, and the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.

In security management, Nathan worked closely with Human Resources and Head Office on complex, workplace investigations. With specific attention to employment law compliance. These experiences continue to shape his practical, compassionate approach to wellbeing support and advocacy.
